Racehorse trainer and KER customer Susan Cooney was not raised with horses, but she became enthralled with them at summer camp that had horses when she was 10 years old.

She went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in animal science and a master’s in equine breeding farm management from Texas A&M. Afterwards she worked as an assistant broodmare manager at Pillar Stud in Lexington, Kentucky, and then worked in Thoroughbred racing in Camden, South Carolina.

Susan now has her own racing stable with her husband Patrick. Cooney Racing Stable is located at historic Walnut Hall Farm in Boyce, Virginia. They specialize in breaking yearlings and two year-olds as well as training horses of all ages for racing.

The Cooneys employ a very hands-on approach to training that values each horse’s individual needs, but one research-proven product that they use across the board is Triacton™.

Studies at KER have demonstrated the positive effects Triacton has on bone density and buffering capacity of the stomach and hindgut. Read the research.

Susan explained, “I use Triacton to support bone density, stomach health, and hindgut balance. Covering three issues with one product has simplified my feeding program, and I know I’m doing the best for my young horses.”

Triacton is available in a convenient pelleted form. For more information on Triacton, contact Kentucky Equine Research at 888-873-1988 or info@ker.com. Purchase Triacton directly at shop.kerx.com.
